AI photo background changer
Swap the background with no green screen and no cutting out by hand. The AI separates the subject from their surroundings and drops in whatever you need — a plain background for documents, an office interior for a professional shot, or an entirely new setting. Hair and glasses keep their edges.

Before
AfterPlain backgrounds for CVs and documents
The most common reason to change a background is a formal requirement: white or light grey for an ID photo, a single flat colour for a CV picture or a team page. Instead of hunting for an empty wall, upload a photo taken anywhere and replace the background with the one required. Do check the issuing office's guidance for the exact shade they accept.
A real setting instead of flat colour
The background does not have to be plain. You can drop in an office interior, a bookshelf, a city street or an outdoor scene, and describe the lighting you want. The thing that matters is matching light direction: if the face is lit from the left while the background implies sun from the right, the composite looks wrong immediately.
Hair, glasses and edges
This is where cutting out by hand usually loses. Loose strands of hair, spectacle frames, sheer fabric or a fringed scarf have hundreds of tiny edges. The AI separates them as a whole rather than tracing a path around them, so no tell-tale white halo is left where the subject meets the new background.

Frequently asked questions
Will the photo pass for a passport or ID?
The background itself can be set to the required colour, but official requirements also cover framing, expression and lighting. Always check the current guidance before submitting.
Do I need a green screen?
No. An ordinary photo against any background works — the model separates the subject on its own.
What about reflections in glasses?
Frames and lenses are preserved. A strong lamp reflection in the lenses is better removed separately, as it looks inconsistent against a new background.
Can I use my own background?
You can describe the background you want and refine it with follow-up edits until it matches what you had in mind.
